Shopify giveaway at Super Cute Kawaii

Claire  of Miso Funky and Marceline of Asking For Trouble are the duo behind Super Cute Kawaii. They launched the site a year ago and have been celebrating with a week of giveaways and general excitingness on the blog.  It all reached boiling point on Friday with news that they have teamed up with Shopify to give three lucky people a free online shop for a year! Yes, a whole year!

Momiji Couture Contest

Momiji [‘mom-ee-jee’] are currently running a contest challenging designers and creative folks to create a fabric Momiji doll. The ten finalists will be exhibited at Royal/T in glam Los Angeles with the winning entry also featuring in textile bible Selvedge.  Some of the mafia members will be entering and we’ll be sure to keep the blog updated with their progress!

Thanks to everybody who submitted a name for our mascot over the past couple of weeks, we had over 60 suggestions. We’ve whittled the names down to a more manageable shortlist and we’re currently voting in the top secret area of our forum for the winner.
