Market Terms & Conditions

Here you can find information on our markets, how to book a table and our terms and conditions. Upcoming markets will be announced in the Events Diary and on the GCM Forum.

Market Bookings & Payment

You do not have to be a Glasgow Craft Mafia member to book a table. We want a good mix of tables and as such there will times when certain crafts are oversubscribed. If we cannot accommodate everybody then GCM will allocate tables to ensure that the markets remain representative of what the Glasgow craft scene has to offer.

To register your interest in a table, please email events AT glasgowcraftmafia.com as soon as possible after the market is announced.

Please include the following information in your email:

• Your name
  
• Your contact number
  
• Your business name
  
• Your craft of choice
  
• A link to your website or at least three good quality images of your work

We will email you to confirm if your booking has been accepted and request payment. Payment is accepted by cheque or Paypal. Payments by paypal incur a £1.00 administration charge to cover fees.

If full payment has not been received by two weeks prior to the market date then your table will be offered to another exhibitor. Your booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

Cancellation of your booking

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact Glasgow Craft Mafia as soon as possible. Exhibitors will be liable for the full cost of the table if they cancel with less than 7 days notice.

Promotion

The details for each Market will be advertised on the Glasgow Craft Mafia website and forum.
Details will also be sent to appropriate local press and websites. Posters and leaflets will be printed and distributed in suitable locations.

Public Liability Insurance

Glasgow Craft Mafia cannot take responsibility for any damage that occurs to you or your products or any thefts or accidents that may arise during the course of a Market. You are advised to have a suitable Public Liability Insurance policy in place for such risks.

Housekeeping

Exhibitors are asked not to pack up before the stated Market finishing time, unless permission is given by Glasgow Craft Mafia. All exhibitors are asked to be set up and ready for opening 15 minutes before advertised opening time

Each exhibitor must bring their own covering for their table.

Exhibitors are requested to highlight any requests for electrical outlets at time of booking and GCM will try to accommodate any requests. Exhibitors must bring their own extension cable for use on the day.

All excess boxes, bags, storage equipment must be placed under the table and out of sight. All hazards including electrical cables must be properly stored and secured. Walkways must be clear at all times. Exhibitors are responsible for ensuring all electrical equipment is safe and non-hazardous.
Items may only be wall hung if permission is given in advance by Glasgow Craft Mafia. Some venues may not allow this so please state at time of booking whether you require wall space.

By booking a table with Glasgow Craft Mafia you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
